A lawyer by U.C.A.B (Caracas) and MBA from the University of Piura (Lima), she is a Master in International Financial Law from Boston University and a Master in Anglo-Saxon Law from New York University. She is a member of the New York and Caracas Bar Associations.
She is Executive Vice President of Corporate and Legal Affairs at Interbank and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director at Intercorp. She began her career in the area of international financing at the Milbank Law Firm (New York). Before joining Interbank (2007) she worked as an associate attorney at the Clifford Chance Law Firm (London) specializing in project funding and privatization in the energy and natural resources sector, with a focus on Latin America.
She participates in several organizations with a focus on inclusion, governance and corporate citizenship. In addition, she chairs the CARE PERU’s Board of Directors and the Advisory Council of the Corporate Secretaries Association for Latin America (ASCLA). She is also part of the boards of La Fiduciaria, Empresarios por la Integridad, ProÉtica and ProMujer Internacional. Similarly, she is an active member of Women Corporate Directors (Peru Chapter) and Wip-Peru of the Cyrus Vance Center NY.
