A mechanical Engineer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, he holds a Master of Industrial Management from Krannert Graduate School of Management, Purdue University, Indiana, USA. 

He is an independent director of companies (Graña y Montero, Camposol and Marinasol) and provides advice to audit and risk committees (Grupo El Comercio). He is also a member of the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee at CARE Peru, and is an associate consultant at LHH. 

Since he joined KPMG in 2004 and until 2010 he was the partner responsible for the Transfer Pricing Division of KPMG Tax & Legal in Peru. He was the leading partner of the Advisory Practice at KPMG in Peru between 2010 and 2013. He was a partner in Tax & Legal at KPMG in Peru from July 2013 to September 2016, responsible for Transactions, Transfer Pricing, Corporate Finance and Business Development. 

He has been a Citibank Peru’s leader of the Financial Control area and CFO for more than nine years. He was vice president, member of the Executive Committee and director of Profuturo AFP for ten years. He was responsible for the Philips Professional and Medical Equipment business unit in Peru and Chile for eight years. He has ten years of experience in various responsibilities in Philips’ internal consultancy and industry sectors. He has taught courses and lectures at various institutions.
