Former chair of PepsiCo’s Beverage Division for Latin America, before he was chair of the same business from 2007 to 2020. During his 30 years at PepsiCo he has held multiple positions: Franchise manager for Peru and Ecuador, general manager for Central America, Franchise vice president in Mexico and general manager of the Beverage Business Unit for North Latin America.
He was the architect of significant profit and revenue growth at this company, driving an aggressive innovation and evolution agenda of the Pepsi bottling system, along with a strong commitment to sustainability, people development and diversity. Before joining PepsiCo, he worked for Procter & Gamble in Peru for 6 years.
In 2010 he received the Steve Reinemund Leadership Legacy Award, PepsiCo’s highest recognition of leadership, diversity and inclusion. In 2012 he received the Leadership Award from the Organization of American States for promoting entrepreneurship among the Americas’ youth. He is currently a member of the board of directors at CARE Peru and is an advisor to the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) Council.
